Disappointment

   I did not know whether or not there was anyone in the car in the parking lot of Planned Parenthood so I proclaimed truth, including the Gospel in case there was someone there to hear it. 
  It was December 20th so, in my appeals to the mothers, I let them know that this is a day that they will never forget, and that  every Christmas time that rolls around they will remember this day and the baby that they could have been holding in their arms. 
 While standing near the entrance, some time later, I heard a car door close and ran back to where I could see that there was now someone in the car and it was running. I made my appeals to her from across the parking lot. 
  J stopped in the driveway on the way out.  She took the tracts that I offered and spoke with me. Upon my request she pulled out and parked so I could talk with her more, without blocking the driveway.
 I asked her if she was scared and spoke with her and listened to her for quite a while. 
 J thought that she was had conceived about 4 weeks ago but learned, through the ultrasound that PP gave her, that the baby was at 8 weeks. Somehow they let her see the ultrasound and she likely began to identify with her child. 
 She said "I just want to be married" meaning that she wanted to be married before having a child. I explained to her that the disappointment over having a child before being married was a small thing compared with the emotional turmoil that comes with knowing that you had your first child killed. 
 She said that she would have to let the father of the child know. I told her that that would be a defining moment. If her boyfriend assured her that he loved and cherished her and would support and provide for her and the child then maybe she should stick with him but if he did not and even suggested to her that she get an abortion then he was not a man who was worthy of her and as difficult as it may be she need to separate herself from him. His character would be revealed either way. 
  I shared much truth with her including the Gospel. I encouraged her, told her of all the resources available for her and prayed for her. 
  She asked for my phone number which I gave to her. 
 I am really hoping and praying that My wife, Terri, & I will be able to follow-up with her and have more of a long term relationship with her. I pray that she will embrace the Gospel and give herself to Jesus. 
  I hope that God blesses me with being able to have her bring her baby to church and testify of God's goodness and mercy.
