Baby Spared!

At the Planned Parenthood on a Friday a few weeks ago a couple of us were attempting to plead with the people going in to not have their babies killed. 
   I was able to speak with a young father stopped in the drive on his way out.  He admitted that the girl that he dropped off was planning on having an abortion, but that he did not want her to.  He told me that it was her decision.  I shared with him how the current laws emasculate men as they prevent them from defending the lives of their children at their most vulnerable stages of development.  I gave him our tracts about fetal development and the worth of every human being. I plead with him to do all he could to convince the mother to let the baby live.  I plead with him to get her to at least go across the street to the CPC to see what they offer.  The young father asked me if I was there when they came in and I replied that I may not have been or may have missed them as I was the only one there between the drive & the ladder on the sidewalk at that time. After engaging me for 8 minutes or so in the drive, without being harassed by the security guards, he said that he had to go the the store but would be back.  I suspected that he was going to get cash from the ATM. 
  He did come back and there was a few more of us at that point.  He stopped again & I told him that she would probably name that baby after him and that he could be a hero.  I exhorted him to be valiant in his efforts to save the life of his child. 
  After he went in those few of us on the sidewalk pleaded with God to work in the young couple's minds & hearts to have them love their baby and spare his or her life. 
   After quite some time went by I started to give up hope & pack-up my signs to leave, when I saw them start to leave together.  I ran across the street & reminded him that he has my number and to call me if he needed anything at all. When I looked through the car to the young mom she told me, with a BIG SMILE on her face, "I changed my mind.  We are going to keep this baby".  Our hearts leaped with joy.  I cried out to God with tears of joy for His mercy & compassion which was displayed there that day.  The few others who were there also were elated about this turn away. 
  I hope & believe that other abortion bound parents change their minds when they see the signs and simply drive away but it is a marvelous blessing when we get to experience God using us in the way He did that Friday. 
  That little baby is alive today & he would have been killed. 
  Listened to a man on a radio program who said, in regard to the recent killings in Texas, that "every person has a responsibility to try to stop innocent bloodshed".  I believe this and hope that you do to.  Most places where these babies are being sacrificed have NO ONE there to plead for their lives.  Please come out & plead for the lives of your most helpless neighbors, the victims of this current holocaust.
