My wife & I went to Denver East High School this morning to pass-out tracts.  We are trying to get them all out & into the hands of others before we move to Texas. We were able to hand out about 300 tracts.  Most of the students took them.  We pray that the ripple effect will be long reaching and that many hearts & minds will be changed.  Please consider doing things like going to the High Schools, or other places, with tracts.  It is sometimes very easy and fulfilling. We did have a staff member ask us to move to the side of the main entrance but we respectfully refused so that we could be where the most foot traffic was.  

  For the 3rd time I saw a person in front of one of the Rec. Centers, gathering signatures for the initiative to make abortion a Colorado Constitutional Right.  Each time I have attempted to engage the person. 
  Tuesday, I was able to engage the person (E) for about 20 minutes.  E. was polite and I was blessed to have reasonable dialogue with her (at least I think it was a her).  She acknowledged that every pregnancy involved a human being that was fully human from the moment of conception.  BUT, she believed that one should consider that the human being in this situation is not necessarily a "Person".  Personhood is different that humanity and is not easily defined.  E herself could  not provide a definition.  I pointed out how throughout history some people group has determine that some other group of humans were not "people" and in these situations the group that is defined as non-persons is abused; enslaved or murdered.  
  E. seemed to appreciate the challenges that I presented to her and even told me that she appreciated that I made the effort to explain the Gospel with her.  She expressed that she did not understand or respect Christians who, ascribe to a belief that unbelievers will face and eternity of judgement apart from God, and then don't seem to put any effort into sharing the way out of that judgement.  
   It is distressing to me that I often run into nonbelievers zealously doing the work of Satan, whose pawns they are, and see so few Christians doing the work of serving the King of Kings, unless it is within the safety of their church buildings or retreats. 
   "Standup Oh Men of God.  Be done with lessor things.  Give heart & soul & mind & strength, to serve the King of Kings" 
  PS: Pray that God will grant repentance to E. and give her that gift of faith in Jesus, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. 

Monday night- I go into the Church where my daughter does AWANA to try to get more signatures for the "Human Life Initiative".  A couple that volunteers there as leaders have said that they do not want sign until they "look into it more". I approached them and ask if they were ready to sign.  The man said he still need to know more about it but then got busy with the games.  I pressed the woman more as she was more accessible.  After engaging her some I learned that she is Pro-abortion.  That's right at this church that I am having my daughter go to for the AWANA program there is a woman in leadership that supports the murder of innocent human beings.  To put it mildly this is discouraging.
   The woman expressed belief in the lie that most women get abortions because they are under great financial distress.  This is simply not true.  Most women abort their babies because raising a child interferes with their desires. 
   The woman also expressed that until we are willing to provide for these moms and provide them all paid leave then we cannot take this right away from them. 
  Another glaring example to the bloodguilt that the churches bear and how great the need to repent is.
